FAQ
What are wax melts? Wax melts are little cubes of scented wax. Similar to a candle but they require no wick.
How do I use wax melts? Simply place 1 to 2 cubes on top of your plugged in electric warmer or lit tealight burner and wait for the wax to melt completely. When you are finished using them, either unplug your electric warmer or blow out the tealight candle and the wax will solidify until you're ready to use it next.
What is the difference between candles and wax melts? Candles require a wick in order to let off fragrance, whereas wax melts require either an electric warmer or a tealight burner. Candles generate soot, the black debris on top that happens when the wick is burning, which may lead to health issues if exposed.
Are your wax melts vegan and cruelty-free? Yes!
Are your wax melts safe? We use 100% soy wax, which is one of the safest types of wax. It is non-toxic and clean burning. Our wax melts are also phthalate-free!
What do I need to have in order to use wax melts? There are a few options on what vessel to use for wax melts. You can use the plug-in electric wax warmer that just require a light bulb (bulbs are almost always included in the warmer), or you can use a tealight burner that requires an unscented tea light.
How long do wax melts last? Depending on how many cubes you use at a time, an entire pack of wax melts can last up to 90 hours of burn time. Each cube is highly scented so you only need 1 or 2 at a time, depending on the room size.
How do I remove the wax? It's very easy. Simply turn on your warmer or light your tealight burner and wait 2-5 minutes until the wax starts to heat up. You can usually see the wax start to release on the edges. By then, you should be able to pop out the wax in one piece. Clean excess residue with a paper towel.
When do I need to replace the wax? If using daily, replace the wax every 3-4 days for optimal scent performance.
Please note: It is not recommended to keep an electric warmer on for more than 4-5 hours at a time. Do not leave a room unattended if there is a tealight candle burning. Keep away from flammable objects, animals and children. If using in the bathroom, be sure to not let water, hair spray, or any flammable object get on the wax.
